Q:I was seriously considering buying a used TZF2 but just noticed that there's a new batch in progress - if that is indeed the case (and if they'll be green, I love green), I'll hang on. Can you confirm? Thanks! (I have a Paradox TZF and love it but am trying to create more space on my pedalboard.)

A: Hello! Yes, Dave is building a new batch of green TZF2s that will be available in the next two weeks. We can notify you when they're in stock. Thank you for being a TZF fan!

Q:I was just wondering if there will be a way to guess when my place on the list may become available. Times are tough so I'll need to know when to send the money

A: We can’t give an estimate of how much time till you're notified, since it depends on how many orders we receive and how fast we can build them. Keep in mind that our pedals are hand-built in batches, then offered for sale to segments of the list, in the order sign-ups were received. Thanks for hanging in there!

Q:Hi Dave, I'm on the waiting list for the paradox. I typically get my gain from the amp, how would the paradox sound in my amps effects loop? Thanks - Paul Buchinger
Asked by: Paul
- 4/7/2023
A: If your dirt is in the preamp and the output section is clean, it should be fine in the loop. Of the output section isn't clean you won't get the full effect.

Q:Dave - I have a TZF2, what does the trimmer on the board do? I just found out there is a trimmer because I am having an issue with volume dropouts with the TZF2 - even when bypassed. I thought the power jack on the 1/4" jacks might be loose so I opened it up.
Thanks
Asked by: JJ

A: The trimmer on the motherboard is for fine-tuning delay levels so it can achieve full cancellation. The trimmers on the daughter board are for setting bias for the analog delay chips. They are set by me and should not be changed. If you are having signal drop outs when bypassed or not, it could be a faulty bypass switch. Feel free to send an email to [email protected]

Q:IF you do another run of these, any chance of a Stereo In/Out version?
Asked by: Lloyd Benjamin
- 6/28/2022
A: Possibly stereo outs, but not stereo in/out. That requires dual processing and there's not enough room for all the circuitry. Better to get a a digital pedal for that.

Q:Im looking to buy a Flanger from you and was wondering if you were still making these? Thanks for your help.
Asked by: Brett Huhn
- 4/7/2022
A: As mentioned, I'm still weighing whether or not it's practical due to parts limitations and cost of enclosures. Can't pinpoint timing at this point, but maybe by the end of this year.

Q:Hi Dave, I was wondering if the TZF3 was going happen? I really want one or a TZF2.

A: Probably at some point. end of this year would be nice. I'm still weighing whether or not it's practical due to parts limitations and the price of enclosures. The more people who get on the TZF2 list, the better.

Q:If a new batch is issued could it be lime green, shell pink or médium purple ?
Asked by: Eric
- 3/12/2022
A: Thank you for the suggestions. These days my options are limited due to prices and supply chains, etc.. but I'm pleased to announce that the new TZF2's will be painted a very beautiful "Traffic green RAL 6024". Search the RAL number and you'll see it. Lettering will be white.

Q:Hello, I love the Paradox TZF2, I would like to have an idea about when do you think will be available again?
Thank you very much
Best regards

A: At this moment I can't say for sure if there will be a new batch of TZF2's or a whole new design. Gotta plan around the parts that are still available. I'm aiming to make it happen this year.
