I chose to build this prototype into a Middle Atlantic CH-1 blank 1U rack chassis. That makes it easier to tweak. There's a lot going on inside this thing...

Here's a closer look at the circuitry. Yes, it looks like a rat's nest, but every wire does something important. The building blocks of the flanger are build onto different circuit boards. Top left - power supply, top right - relay switching, the rest is the delay, noise reduction, audio mixing, and clock circuitry.
