SOUND CLIPS:
This clip starts out with clean guitar to show how things sound before Octron is switched in. Then Octron is switched in with a mix of direct guitar and Octave DOWN.
(below) This is the guitar and amp used. For these first clips, the ZIM and TZF are off. I recorded with ZIM and TZF on but when I went to edit the clips it turns out they're all overloaded. I cranked things up without bringing down the record levels.... oops. More clips coming.. actually there's some TZF at the end of the next clip.
For this clip I rolled the tone down on the guitar. For the first part is upper and lower octave only, no direct. For the last two passages there is some direct guitar dialed in.
This clip has mix of octave up, clean and octave down. It's pretty tame because the amp is clean. This becomes massive with some distortion and loud volume. Towards the end of the clip there is a passage of Oct up with some direct which is followed by the last passage, a bass line (on the same guitar) with some clean mixed in. The bass line has some TZF flanger going to add a little color. Sounds like an 8 string bass!
