MORE PROTOTYPES COMING!!

RACK MOUNT PROVIBES!!

I have been building, modifying and designing guitar effects since my teenage years - in the late seventies. I started building them professionally in the late eighties. Over the years I have built up tons of prototypes that either get sold, lent to people, or end up on the shelf while I move on to other things. Lately I've been going through my stash of prototypes and putting them up for sale here. I also custom build things based on customer's requests. If you want and effect but you're not sure if it exists, let me know. I may have already built it! By the way, all prices INCLUDE SHIPPING.

FuzzFoot built into FuzzFace casting

Price: $150.00

FUZZFOOT

I have a stash of 80's reissue FuzzFace castings that I can build up for you. I have blank, un-silkscreened castings, unpainted castings, finished, screened castings with rubber mat. I have them in Red, Blue and Gray (quantities are limited). You can get the original FuzzFoot circuit (which kicks ass!), the super hot NPN BC109C silicon circuit, or whatever you want. Tell me what you'd like.

Here's a sample of what I have.

If you're into the whole high-gain NPN Silicon trip, I have a stash of BC109C transistors.

Pedal Vibe

Price: (sold)

This prototype was built in 1992 - long before any of the other guys were making clones. It's a great sounding Univibe clone with a built-in speed pedal.

Features:

True bypass switching

Built-in speed pedal - Has a spring that backs it off to the slowest speed setting when you take your foot off the pedal,

Speed control - Can be used to 1) Set the slowest speed, the speed that it returns to when your foot is off the pedal, and 2) Set the speed for when you don't want to use the pedal. The actual foot pedal used is an industrial type that originally sold for $250.00!!!

Width - Same as "Intensity" on original Univibe. Sets the width of the sweep from see-sick wide to no sweep at all.

Center - Same as the internal trimmer on the original Univibe. Sets the center point of the sweep. Essential for getting all the vintage sounds!

Power - Runs off of a 9VAC adaptor.

FuzzFoot and Octave Prototypes

Price: (sold)

This prototype was built in 1999 while I was working on the FuzzFoot circuit. I designed, etched and drilled out the circuit board.

Features:

Volume

Grit - Transistor bias control for all the sounds from farty to liquid blue

Drive - Gain control for variable sustain and Fuzz

Captain Coconut Prototype 1

Price: (SOLD)

This is one of the original CC prototypes. I call it the "paint pen special". It's a bit sloppy looking but it is a Captain Coconut through and through. It includes all the latest CC updates.
