ZIMcard swap policy

ZIM is shipped with a default set of ZIMcards. You have the option of swapping out ZIMcards, buying additional ZIMcards, or leaving it as it is. See information on the individual cards find out more about pairs that match up well.

Swapping ZIMcards

Open and print out the ZIMcard swap form. Open your ZIM and remove the ZIMcard you want to replace. Pack it up carefully - make sure there's no way the pins can get crushed. Use a small, heavy cardboard box, not a shipping envelope or anything soft. Send it in with $10.00 to cover return shipping and handling of the replacement ZIMcard. Your replacement will be sent out immediately.

Purchasing ZIMcards

Each ZIMcard is $65.00 including shipping in the USA. ZIMcards are available only to ZIM owners for the sole purpose of being used in a ZIM pedal. In order to purchase ZIMcards you list your serial number and what cards are currently installed in your ZIM.

Leave it as it is

ZIM's default configuration covers a lot of ground, so it's likely that there's no need to start swapping out cards. But if you would like to experiment you can try swapping channels. Simply remove the bottom of ZIM, unscrew the stand-off nuts, and swap the two ZIMcards. You'll now have voicing on what was Ch A, and your cascaded tone will be different.
