Dave,
I recently purchased a Captain Coconut 2 from Analog Mike and may I say that it is definitely the coolest and best fuzz/octave/provibe I have heard. I am really going to enjoy it.

Thanks for all the advice and I hope to hear from you soon!

Sincerely,
Richard

James H 12-8-01 (he bought the fuzz named Bill - see the "Fuzz for sale" page)

Dave,

Bill has found a happy home! My favorite amp ('65 Vibrolux Reverb) is extremely touch responsive, and I'd not found an overdrive/fuzz other than the Klon and Hotcake that didn't drastically change the amp's feel and mask the sweet tone; Bill seems to manage a nice synergy. I haven't had a chance yet to mess with the trim pots or try him with my other gear, but he's definitely a keeper. I love how responsive this fuzz is to minute adjustments of my guitar's volume. You did a great job with this thing.

Best regards,
Jim

Jeffrey K 12-10-01 (sent to Foxrox). Jeff got the Vintage germanium FuzzCard in his CC2

Dave - Got the Captain Coconut 2 on Friday and had the entire weekend to play with it. It is probably the best Fuzz, Vibe and Octave I have ever heard. The Germanium Fuzz is Hendrix, Duane Allman, Doyle Bramhill any one that
uses an original Germanium Fuzz Face. I can simply dial in the correct amount of fuzz adjust the grit to match their transistor bias and you are home. The vibe kills my (company X's highly regarded UniVibe clone).

I put my Sound City (Dallas Arbiter) Wah Face behind the unit then a Tube screamer to my Super Reverb and that's
is all you need to do anything, might not even need the Tube Screamer. No need to buy a vintage Fuzz Face when I can get a better sounding Fuzz, Vibe, Octave for the same money. Simply amazing!!!!

Jeffrey K 12-8-01 (sent to Analog Mike)

Mike - Got the Captain Coconut and it is seriously cool. The best sounding fuzz, vibe and octave I have heard out of all of them. Now I have to figure out what to do with my (company X's highly regarded UniVibe clone) and (other company Y's highly regarded FuzzFace clone).
Thanks again for all of your help.

This Is It!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive hit my dream tones!!! no more searching! Oh MY GOD I Just cant believe how right ON the tones you are with this pedal. Just sweet spots all over the place with every note i play. The vibe is Delicious, just totally as phasey and mushy as I expected, thank you!
The Fuzz I have to say is a godsent to me. Ive been having this fuzz dilema for years.. never could find MY sound that was in my head,,, right here...in your pedal. the grit knob is just perfect!!! I can go strait from "experienced" to "ilse of wright" SSSSWEETT. Thank you so much again for the perfect creation.

Hi Dave,

I got my new CC2 on Saturday and as far as I can tell it's a great piece of work. I used it last night at band rehersal and I was able to get some great tones. I havent had that much experience with the Octave or the Provibe but I can tell that I am going to have a great time dialing it in for the Hendrix thing. The serial number is CC2111088. Thanks again for a fine piece of work. Brian H

Jamie 11-27-01

Hi Dave !

My CC2 serial no. is CC20111083. I must congratulate you on the best

hearing one because of your reputation and I was certainly not
dissappointed. You really know what your doin' !

Thanks again,

I just wanted to send you an e-mail to tell you that I love your CC2, quality sound and quality built, Fuzz is just Perfect, first fuzz that I really feel is musical, the provibe sounds allot more lusher that my (other companies highly regarded Univibe clone) and far more adjustable, all I can say is top quality. My chain of effects are Am. strat (lindy fralin pickups)> fulltone clyde wah> CC2> TS9/modded 808> 2 reverend drive trains> fender super. The Reverend Drive trains are also a excellent overdrive pedal. But I could ramble on, I just wanted to say thanks again.

I got the Captain Coconut 2 yesterday. One very sweet machine. The Provibe is worth the price of the unit just by itself. Really liquid vibe. I don't think the machine is capable of making a bad tone. WOW! I'm using it with my 8 string Warr guitar and the effects all work really well over the entire tonal range of the instrument, bass B on upward. The wah/fuzz combo
is just out of this world. Thanks for the pedal. Gotta get back to playing.

Jeff S on 10-29-01 (sent to Analog Mike)

Mike
Got the CC2 today It just I cant, really find the word to describe how suprised I am at the sound of the unit. Everything I have used effect wise to this point has colored my sound. It is absolutely amazing , The fuzz has more range that the state of Texas. The provibe is so cool I was goting to get a univibe the are 190 +70 for pedal 260 I figured 140 more for the cc2 plus my old wah covert to speed control work fabulous. I am so glad I got it.

Once again Thanks for the greatest effect I have ever owned I am sorry if I bugged you with emails.
Thanks
Jeff

Henry, who bought a PNP Hybrid FuzzFoot built into a gray FuzzFace shell. 10-24-01

Hey Dave,

Picked up the Fuzzfoot yesterday and just want to tell you it's awesome! It is by far the best Fuzz I ever played. It seems even better than the one on an early CC I played. Love the way it responds to my guitars vol knob! What's even better is I'm moving to an apt where I'll be able to crank up as I please and I see this pedal through a Marshall combo in the future.Just wanted to say Thanks and you are the man!
Best regards,
Henry

Everett 10-24-01 (sent to Analog Mike)

I got it...it's fantastic! I love the provibe!! (i've never actually used that effect before). It reminds me of the beginning of Across the Universe by The Beatles. The fuzz is quite nice...very usable, although I might be interested in the dual germanium card and a blank card for more experimentation. The manual is great! Everything a manual should be. I'm also a little surprised at how much I like having all three
effects in one pedal...I wasn't sure if I'd like that and it's actually pretty cool.

All in all, a VERY cool pedal...I really like the look too. Now I just have to save the beans for the RMC wah to go with it....anyways...thanks a lot! Hope to place another order soon...

Jay, who owns an original CC, and a CC2! 10-23-01

Hello Dave,
I received the CC2 yesterday. When I got it home I immediately went to "the second bedroom" which my girlfriend refuses to call "the guitar room". 8' x 10', no bed and has 8 guitars in it along with my 2 amps and effects, but that's another story. Anyhow, plugged it into my trusty old deluxe reverb 2 and now fast forward 3 hours. I can not stop playing it. The ECS feature is an unexpected surprise. It does what I want a foot controller to do. Why bother with the foot controller? I can't answer that but, I got a controller anyway.

Thanks again for all your help. My CC1 is in great working shape now sitting comfortably in storage. I am extremely excited about my CC2 and I can't wait to gig with it. When I get a chance I'm going to post a review to Harmony Central. Although I've seen people give a Rocktek Flanger pedal a 10 (why do people do that?), the CC2 truly deserves a 10.

many thanks from another satisfied consumer,
jay m.

Matt, who bought an original CC 10-21-01

I may have already done this, but just in case I didn't...my Captain Coconut's serial number is CC001239. And it kicks ass.

Dave
I am getting tremendous BOG and Woodstock tones with the CC-2.
I got the fuzz>vibe working for me and I'm having a blast playing the Star Spangled Banner and hearing it bouncing off the other buildings here.
With the fuzze's Grit dialed to about 10:00 Im getting that great neck PU Machine Gun solo tone.
Thanks again.

Carl
